Sage Roses

At last I discovered a night free of washing dishes, cleaning vacuuming and visiting friends... Who am I kidding!! A night that I decided to put my captivating novel down and do something on the blog instead is closer to the truth.
Here you are though folks. A new client and an addition to the growing portfolio. I really do love this one. The colours capture the idea of victorian beauty. Sage and gold with a curling script to capture the names of the two to be wed. I wrapped all the pieces in raffie (dried corn husk) to give it an additional feeling of romance. I love packaging the pieces just as much as I love creating the stationary in itself. The envelopes were wrapped in brown paper with small labels denoting what was in the package, almost as though they were straight from the victorian era. What times those were! I could lose myself in book after book based on the days of petticoats and parasols, chivalry and courage! I probably dream a great deal more exaggerated than those days really were, but that is fine by me. I hope you enjoy the latest edition to In My Attic Studio.
