Upcoming Destination Wedding...

I can't wait to start working on the invitations for this wedding! This will be the first destination wedding that I have worked on and I love how this Save the Date came together.

Soft Lilac Swirl

When meeting for this next project, I was given a few engagement pictures that the couple wanted to incorporate into the invitation. It was so fun to work on something a little different and it had been a long time since I used an image in a wedding invitation. I love the fresh feel the picture gives to the inside of the invitation. The map is another item that can be made to suit the look of your wedding stationery. It keeps everything neat and uniform. I look forward to this next year and wonder what new ideas it will bring!

Luxurious in Emerald

The word Emerald: it brings to one's mind a rich, deep and beautiful green colour. It was also the colour of choice for this bride and groom. This invitation has an outer pocket with a stand on the back for guests to display easily. The card pulls out of the pocket and all the information is tucked away inside nicely. A monogram adorns the back of each card for a touch of personalization.

Winter Wedding

After a very long hiatus, I thought it is time to update the blog. Here is an invitation I worked on last year for a winter wedding. It was such a fun wedding to work on! I added some sparkle with the two crystals added on the front of the invitation. You open the flap and are presented with three cards, in this case: ceremony, reception and a reply card. The directions were printed on the back of the reception card. In the last few years, I have worked on a monogram design that fits with the invitation. This monogram can be sent to the couple for use on other wedding items if needed. Enjoy :) If you have any questions about pricing please e-mail me at inmyatticstudio@gmail.com

A Glance Back

There are numerous pieces I have been failing to post recently, but I am hoping that over the next little while I can catch up. I am going back in time a little bit here and posting a few dinner reception programs I have done in the recent past. Designing these programs is so special and fun as they are filled with so many different pieces. Some are for introducing family and bridal parties, while others are filled with games and fun facts about the bride and groom. It gives your guests that special something to take home and remember the wonderful time they had. Each one is so unique and so interesting! I have had the pleasure to work with bridal parties and families to put these booklets together either as a surprise to the couple or just for fun. If you want to see a hard copy of a dinner program, just contact me at inmyatticstudio@gmail.com.

Many thanks!

Mattheus

Proud parents Steve and Sophie and big brother Jacob welcomed beautiful baby Mattheus at the end of 2009. It was very exciting to be able to put this birth announcement together for the Lentings and their precious new bundle of joy. I have not had the honour of doing birth announcements too many times, but really did enjoy putting these together. Thanks Steve and Sophie for trusting In My Attic Studio with the special task of designing these for you!
